The first time you start the application, it will scan your system for all your installed programs. This process is fast and the program will try to fill almost all program records automatically. In most of the cases, this process will be enough to have your database completed; but you still have the option to fill in the missing fields of every record manually. Software developer, product web page, registration key, notes, phone, support link - these are some of the fields you get to fill in.
Moreover, the program will let you make a backup of your database. And if you want, you can set a password in order to hide your software records from other people. Finally, you can also export your records to MS Excel files, although this feature is available only in the paid version.
